Jay Thome
Jay’s entire career has been in the field of scrap metal brokerage. Starting in 1975 as an intern at the David J. Joseph Company, Jay has held increasingly responsible positions at National Material Trading, David J. Joseph Company, Luria Bothers and Vice President of Trading for PSC Metals prior to forming Scrap Dynamics Corporation in 2002. Jay has a very positive, dynamic and unique perspective on the scrap industry backed by over 30 years of experience.
Kevin Latore
Kevin brings many years of experience in the industry both commercially and operationally. Coming on board with us in 2010, he is seasoned, energetic and has his own positive and unique style of communicating and building solid relationships. Kevin applies himself to the benefit of our customers and suppliers, and is a terrific asset to our team.
Krista Vespucci
Krista brings over 18+ years of experience with SDC in business and office management. She currently handles all administrative functions to include account payables, receivables, daily bookkeeping, data entry, etc. She has an intimate knowledge of our systems and business in general which allows her to address any administrative function efficiently with accuracy. Krista is an integral part of our business that brings quality service and personal attention to our valued customers and suppliers.
Carol Schuster
Carol started in the business in 1990 and worked with Jay at Luria Brothers, PSC Metals, and rejoining Jay at Scrap Dynamics in 2010.
Being in the field over 30 years, she has been in various roles and brings many years of knowledge and experience in the industry,
including customer and supplier relations, managing contracts, as well as accounts payables and receivable operations.
